Calendar app help — scheduling, reminders & RSVP

Practical answers for using Schedlie day to day — shared calendars, client reminders, group scheduling, and billing.

Getting started

Register for a free account, complete the short setup wizard, and you will land on your dashboard with a personal calendar ready. Use "New calendar" to add a shared group calendar for a team, club, or business.

Yes. Open the app in your mobile browser — it is built to work on phones and tablets. Add it to your home screen for quick access without installing anything.

Yes. The Free plan includes all core features: calendars, events, email reminders, client reminders, advanced RSVP, and appointment booking. SMS reminders are available on all plans with prepaid credits. Free accounts can own My Calendar plus up to 3 shared calendars. Schedlie Plus unlocks unlimited owned calendars, nested organisations, bundled SMS credits each month, and your own branding on client messages.

No. Create a free account with just your email address. You only need a card if you choose to buy SMS credits or upgrade to Schedlie Plus.

Calendars & events

From the dashboard or My Calendar, click the plus button (or tap a day on the month grid). Enter a title, date, time, pick a calendar, set reminders, and save. Group calendar events are visible to all members immediately.

Yes. When creating or editing an event, use the Repeat option for weekly training sessions, monthly meetings, and similar repeating appointments.

Keep work, family, and hobbies on one personal month view so everything is in one place. The week strip on the dashboard gives you a quick at-a-glance view before you commit to anything.

Create types (e.g. Match, Training, Appointment) with custom colours and icons so your month grid is scannable at a glance. Limits vary by plan — see the comparison table on the Pricing page.

Group calendars

Use the group calendar wizard: name your calendar, pick a template, define member fields, then invite people by email. Members get access to the shared schedule and can be assigned as admins.

Yes. Create one group calendar per team. Coaches post fixtures and updates; parents and players see the same month view and get reminders automatically.

Free accounts can own up to 3 shared calendars (plus My Calendar — 4 in total). Schedlie Plus removes the cap so you can create as many as you need, and adds nested organisation calendars for multi-team or multi-branch structures. You can always join an unlimited number of shared calendars that others own.

Nested calendars let you build a parent calendar (e.g. "City FC") with dedicated sub-group calendars beneath it (e.g. "Under-12s", "Under-14s"). Members can follow the whole organisation or just their group. Nested calendars are a Schedlie Plus feature.

Reminders & RSVP

In the event form, add one or more reminder times (e.g. 1 day before, 2 hours before). You can receive reminders by email, in-app notification, or SMS (SMS requires prepaid credits). Toggle the channels you want in Notification Settings.

Yes, on all plans. Add a contact or client to any event and Schedlie will send them an email or SMS reminder on the schedule you set. You need to enable client reminders in Notification Settings and accept the third-party communications policy first. — Third-party communications policy

Enable RSVP on an event and share the link. Contacts can respond Going, Maybe, or Not going. Both simple and Advanced RSVP are available on all plans — Advanced adds deadlines, headcount caps, follow-up nudges, and extra guest options.

Turn any event into a bookable time-slot grid. Clients pick a slot from your available window and their RSVP is recorded automatically. Appointment sheets are available on all plans.

Yes, on all plans. SMS reminders use prepaid credits (buy from €5 in Subscriptions or Communications Settings). Schedlie Plus includes 200 SMS credits per month as part of your subscription (resets monthly; unused allowance does not roll over). Prepaid top-ups never expire. Cost depends on message length and the recipient's country — see SMS destination rates for availability and pricing. — SMS destination rates

You will receive an in-app and email notification explaining why. Common reasons: no credits left, an unsupported number region, or an invalid phone number. The Reminders hub (burger menu) shows a full delivery history and an Issues tab so you can spot and fix problems quickly.

Plus & billing

Upgrade when you need: more than 3 owned shared calendars (Plus is unlimited); nested organisation calendars; bundled SMS credits (200/month included without buying packs); or your own branding on client emails and SMS instead of Schedlie branding.

One Schedlie Plus subscription covers your personal calendar and all the shared calendars you own. You are not charged separately for each calendar.

Each reminder uses credits based on message length and the recipient's country — not a flat rate per text. A short SMS to some destinations may use 1 credit; longer messages or certain countries use more. Prepaid credit packs start from €5 and never expire. Schedlie Plus includes 200 credits per month that reset each billing cycle (unused monthly allowance does not roll over). Top-ups stack on your monthly allowance and are spent last. — SMS destination rates

Prepaid credits never expire and remain on your account after cancellation. Your monthly Schedlie Plus allowance stops at the end of the current billing period.

Sign in, open Subscriptions, and follow the prompts. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. Billing is handled securely via Stripe.
